Her sessions with these women every week helps them feel heard, and feel free even while they are locked up. This video is helping to demonstrate the work that Naima Shalhoub does for incarcerated women and how important it is. The feel of the video is quite warm, happy, and uplifting despite the more darker and cold topic behind the video and the issues that affect incarcerated women. The video feels very persuading. Seeing how passionate Naima Shalhoub is about this and how she has impacted these women, it makes me want to help people too. This video is a way to encourage people to see the issues these women face in prison. Since the video is passionate and warm, it does a good job humanizing people in prison, and ecourages people to go out and help others too since Shalhoub is very inspiring.
