Pre-writing Artifact
I have a scar on my hand, not sure if it counts as a scar. Me and my friends went to my house and went to the hill next to it. We decided to skateboard down it, then we started going too fast and ran into each other. Then I fell over, and caught myself on my hand, and scraped a few places, but only my thumb was scarred. My friend who I ran into broke his wrist. Don't really skateboard that much.
Revision Artifact
My friends drive up to my house. I wave at them and run up to the car. They get out, we grab the skateboards from the trunk even though none of us actually skate besides one of them. We’re deciding where to go when one of my friends points behind my shoulder and goes, “Hey, what if we tried to ride down that hill?”. We ran over, set up our boards, and pushed. It was fun for a few seconds, but I started gaining more speed than I thought I would.The board began wobbling and I couldn’t really control it anymore. I looked to my side and I saw my friend racing towards me too. We crashed into each other. The asphalt scraped under me as I fell down and our skateboards rolled away. I felt my skin burning and tasted blood as I started to get up.
