Revision Artifact
I interviewed a friend I have from Taekwondo. When asking her about her thoughts on the community, she talked about feeling connected and having a place to feel a part of. It was a way to meet and hangout with people she liked. It was fun how every week she could go to class, and exercise some, but mostly hangout and talk to her friends. She switched Taekwondo schools when she moved to Alabama for college, and she said it was hard leaving, but still having that Taekwondo community to go to every week made it easier. Throughout college she has stuck with it, and goes events and tournaments still and gets to see her friends from our original school, and her new school. One difficult thing is that her new Taekwondo school is 45 minutes away from her college, so it has been harder to go, but she still continues to do so because she really enjoys the sport and likes seeing her friends.
Peer Response Artifact
My peers helped me with my interview questions, and help me focus the questions more towards the community, and not just about Taekwondo in general. They also helped me to word it better for my interview I ended up doing.
Mentor Response Artifact
I was asking my roommate for help on my interview. At this time I still wasn't too sure what my community was because I hadn't really met too many people here besides 1 or 2 real friends, so she helped me narrow it down from the few ideas I had and then helped me fix my interview questions more once I had drafted them.
